in listening to others and their stories, just as in exploring where we came from, it gives us the opportunity to enrich our understanding of our own story
This project has been created as a resource and research project on the history of the land and house at 3 River Street Yamba for the family of George and Marie Gray.
Acknowledgment of Country
We acknowledge and pay respect to the past, present and future Traditional Custodians and Elders of this nation and the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
In particular the lands that relate to the cottage in Yamba ; the Yaegl people of the mouth of the Clarence River and the Bundjalung of the far North East Coast of NSW
